Transfer error work around

I’m looking for a work around for this error I’m running into, besides deleting a recreating the transfer. I clicked on an Open Two-Step transfer in GageTrak Crib and got this error:

When I click “Yes”, it gives “Multiple Reasons” for the selection criteria failed, so I hit “OK” to try to fix the issues, but then the gages listed in the transfer all disappeared:

I can see the gages that were included in the error window, so I’m just going to write them down, delete the transfer, and create two Routing transfers in its place, but I would like to know if there’s something else I can do for the future to resolve this more easily?

I believe the issue with this one is a flag on the tools that says “available for transfer” within the backend.

A work around for this that I can think of would be to adjust the rule for your transfer, and deselect the items at the bottom of the rules that say “Only include gages marked Available for Transfer”.

Hi Drew, I had actually removed the “Only include gages marked Available for Transfer” flag previously as part of a separate troubleshooting effort. I tried putting it back on, opening the transfer, then removing it, but that didn’t work either. I think my general workaround is going to be to simply not use the two-step transfer feature. It seems to cause a lot of headaches and the only real benefit I can see is the fact that the second leg of the transfer shows up in the Due Lists, which I think I can just accomplish with reminders. Honestly, if you could make an option within a transfer rule to create a reminder on the asset, that would be even more helpful!
