Did you know that GAGEtrak lets you create calibrations for multiple tools at the same time? Instead of creating calibration records one by one, you can knock them all out in a single process.
Here’s how it works:
Create Multiple Calibration Records at Once
Go to the Calibration Module
In GAGEtrak, navigate to the Calibrations page.
Start a New Calibration
Click the + (Create Calibration) button at the bottom of the page.
Important: You’ll want to start from this location if you plan to add multiple tools at once.
Select Gage Pop-Up
After clicking the + button, a pop-up window titled “Select Gage” will appear.
Enter Calibration Details
Fill out the required information in the pop-up, such as:
Calibration Date
Calibrator
Calibration Type
Select Multiple Gages
At the bottom of the Select Gage window, you’ll see:
A text-based search
A list of available gages
Use the checkbox to the left of each Gage ID to select multiple tools. Once you’ve made your selections, click OK.
That’s it!
GAGEtrak will automatically create one calibration record for each tool you selected, saving you time compared to entering them individually.
Hope this helps streamline your calibration workflow!
Thank you so much this will make my life so much easier. I am new to Gagetrak we are still in early stages of implementing it but tips like this are extremely helpful.
Yup! This was one of our main reasons for going to GT8. You can also select from the Cal Due list, right click and select the first option (Can’t remember exactly what it says at the moment) but it will calibrate each tool you selected and even print a string of stickers. Saves a TON of time.
Q: Many folks operations are required to record actual test point results as part of their calibration. How does this feature (group calibration) address that?
This just creates the calibration records to be completed still, those test points and the completion of the calibration are still steps you should take when creating multiple calibrations.
Those records will still need to be filled out, this just allows you to create those records to fill out at one time rather than going about them one at a time.
