One of the things I like about the calendar in GAGEtrak is that it gives you a visual way to see what’s coming up instead of working through a long due list. If you’re trying to plan your week, avoid surprises, or just get a quick sense of your workload, the calendar makes that much easier.
GAGEtrak has several ways to view upcoming calibrations, but the calendar view pulls everything together in one place. It shows calibrations, activities, reminders, and even upcoming MSA studies laid out by day, week, or month.
To open the calendar, start with GAGEtrak open and click Due Lists in the bottom-left corner. The calendar is the first option on the left.
In the example above, the weekly view shows the last week of January 2026. There’s a calibration due on Sunday the 25th, which is the kind of thing that’s easy to miss in a list but stands out immediately on the calendar.
You can switch between Day, Week, and Month views using the options in the top banner. In the top-left corner, you can also choose which items appear on the calendar, group them by schedule type, jump back to today’s date, move forward or backward through dates, and view the legend that explains how items are displayed.
I’ve found the calendar especially useful for planning ahead and spotting things that might otherwise slip by in a due list. I’m curious how others are using it. If you rely on the calendar, or have tips on what works well for you, feel free to share.
I love the calendar too! The display of items due really stand out and yes it does help you see something that could easily be missed in the due listing. It’s a great resource for planning ahead, especially for scheduling third party on-site calibrations.
Thanks for sharing that. The planning side of the calendar is something we hear a lot about, especially when third-party on-site calibrations are involved. Being able to see upcoming due items visually really does help catch things that are easy to miss in a standard due list.
One other thing I’ve found handy is being able to right-click a gage right from the calendar and start a new calibration. When you’re already planning ahead, not having to jump back to the main listing saves a bit of time.
That’s great! I didn’t know about the right click to create calibration!
I do have a question: How do I see the third party calibrations due in the calendar? Currently view only shows the calibrations due that I take care of.
Hi Kelly! My name is Grant, and I’m one of the Software Training resources with CyberMetrics.
In terms of keeping track of gages that need to be calibrated by third-party vendors, you might consider doing this in a couple of different ways:
Set a schedule of calibration into the Gage record to indicate the interval at which the gage in question needs to be calibrated. In many ways, this isn’t vastly different than what you are doing with gages that need to be calibrated internally. Then, you can set your Supplier up as the Calibrator, so you’ll know which vendor will be used to handle the calibration. By doing this, your third-party gage calibrations will appear in your Calibrations Due list – which may be the most desirable outcome.
Alternatively, you might consider setting up your third-party calibrations with Reminders – also something you can configure in the Schedule tab in the gage record. Your reminders will appear on the far-right toolbar, and will appear with the date of the next scheduled calibration date so you don’t miss it. You can also configure these Reminders to appear both as one-time and Recurring reminders, if a third-party calibration needs to be handled periodically.
Hopefully one of these solutions will work! Please let us know if you have other questions.
