Calibration Due Date Report

Hello, my name is Jason. I am relatively new to GageTrak Lite. I need to create a calibration report that shows all of our gages due 3 months in the future so I can better manage the gages that I need to outsource for calibration. I would appreciate any suggestions that would get me started on the report. Thank you and have a great day!

Hello Jason! Welcome to the Forum – we’re so glad to have you here.

The easiest way to accomplish what you’re seeking is to start in the Due Lists section, and click on Calibrations Due. You should now see a screen that shows you all of the calibrations coming due in the future.

From here, find the first listed column in the grid for Next Due Date. In the header, click the funnel icon to set your date range. Select the three month interval you wish to run by entering in your From and To dates, and click Filter. This will show you all of your due gages, sorted by Due Date, for the interval of time you selected.

NOTE: You may wish to also adjust which columns will be visible in this view at the same time. If you click on the three-lined icon at the top-right corner of the grid, this is your Column Selector. You can add or subtract columns you wish to have visible in this report, and you can also reorder your columns by clicking, dragging and dropping items from the Column Selector into the locations you wish for them to appear. For instance, you may want something like Gage Serial Number to appear in this report – just click on the checkbox for Gage S/N and it will now appear in the view.

Make any necessary changes or corrections to your view, and after you are done, run your report using the options at the top-right corner of the Calibrations Due tab. You can also Save this view for later so you don’t have to re-create it each time you wish to run a similar report! Look for the Save View button just to the right of the dropdown option at the top of the page. Give it a name you will remember for next time, and you can always toggle into this view any time you revisit this page!

I hope that helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions.

I tried That and clicked on the refresh button and nothing came up. Any ideas?

Hi Jason –

It would help if we could see what you’re seeing when you do this. Perhaps you could attach a pair of screenshots to this reply, showing A) how the screen looks when you first get into Calibrations Due, and the B) another one showing how you’re filtering your initial results. This will help us be able to get a greater understanding of what’s happening when you try to implement this change to the window.

I notice you say you are using Gagetrack lite and I have Pro, so your settings may be different from mine. But it might give you some help to know how I fixed my issue similar to this. If this is not the same or it is the wrong answer, someone can let me know and I can edit this reply.

I found I had to click on Configuration Menu (lower left side of screen) and scroll down that left side window to settings. Then choose the Schedules Tab and go down to Gage Calibrations Due Listings and make it 90 days. Recalculate and save and then you should be able to refresh. Then as the above post states, go to due list menu and Calibrations due window and then use your filter. Hopefully that will help?

You will have to change your filters back again if you want to go back to 30/60 days instead of 90 days, but that should allow you to look farther out.
