How do I change a standard for a gage?

Hello, I am new to GAGEtrak 8 Pro. We have been using GAGEtrak 7. How do I change a standard that is currently linked to a gage. In GAGEtrak 7 we accomplished this by selecting the Gage ID going to the standards tab and selecting a standard listed in the dropdown menu of the Standards group.

Hello Breakermetrics!

Firstly, I wanted to thank you for joining us here on our community forum.

To answer your question on the reference standards, to change them, you will want to firstly find the gage with the reference standards you would like to change. Then from the gages information, head to the blue “Test Points” tab. From the test points, you will see a “Reference Standard” section at the bottom of each individual point, and to remove the standard from the point, right click on it in the list and select “Delete Reference Standard”.

This won’t remove the gage from your system, but instead it just removes the link from that gage to the test point. Once deleted on the individual points, if you click on the “Link Reference Standards” button beneath the box displaying the standards attached to the test point, you will be able to link new reference standards to the gage’s test points.

Another note is you also have the option in the “Link Reference Standards” menu to link the standard to every test point at one time, rather than having to individually link them.

When I right click on standard I don’t see the standard listed like in your example. I do see the delete reference standard box and when I click it, it will highlight but nothing happens. Everything else looks the same as your example.

Breakermetrics,

From here, I would like to recommend reaching out to our support network to see about getting a remote session with them, so they can take a look at what’s going on.

We have had a similar issue but we use Gagetrak Lite not sure if that changes things. It will show the Gage IMT number but not the information under the Refrence Standards.
