Using GT Lite 8.8.4.3752, I can use gage template add a test point and have it update on my gages linked to that template. But, if I delete a test point in the template and try to update to the current linked gages; it will not update the existing gages to the fewer test points.
In other words, I update the template and I now have 11 test points. I link my 3 gages and update them and they all now have 11 test points. Now I decide that I no longer want test point # 11, so I go to gage template, delete test point 11 and then update and link my 3 gages to the new test points (so there so be only 10 test points). When I go to the effected gages and view the test points, it still shows 11 points and not the 10 it should be. Why is this doing that?
I can keep adding test points to a template and it will continue to add them to the gages, but it will not display or update any type of deleted step.
And yes, I have closed out the gage tab and “forced” the supposed-to-be updated gage tab to open, but zero deleted step gages show. I must delete the steps manually for each induvial gage.
Please explain how to have deleted steps in the template delete in a gage.
