Dark mode issues -invisible text

I’m a dark mode fan. Maybe I’m a closet computer hacker wearing a black hoodie :detective: leaning over a dimly backlit laptop keyboard trying to get into some government archive in an effort to prove aliens are real.:alien: But no, not really, I just like dark mode, easier on the eyes.

However, as happy as I was that gagetrak had added some alternative color choices including a black background, the issue I have come across is that some text -not all- does not automatically switch colors in order to be readable. If I had to guess, I’d say the person developing the software had some text items set to ‘automatic’ for color, and others set to be black.

And thus so I politely request that someone buzz thru the texts that show in popup windows and check out the issue.

I asked my tech to take screenshots of the issue when he sees it, so I can post them for evidence. I will reply with them when available.

Thanks for pointing this out. I’m going to pass this along to our development team so they can take a look at how the text colors are being handled in dark mode, particularly in the popup windows.

The screenshots will definitely be helpful, so please post those when you have them and I’ll make sure they’re included with the information I send over.

And for the record, we fully support dark mode whether it’s for easier viewing or late-night alien investigations. :alien:
