In our older version we were able to edit the features in creating labels but this new PRO software I don’t see where that can be done. Can this still be accomplished in PRO?

Firstly let me welcome you to our forum! We appreciate your participation here and thank you for your post.
Unfortunately, no, GAGEtrak Pro or Lite does not offer the ability to customize labels at this time. When we rebuilt the application for version 8, we found that the software used for the report or label customization was slowing things down, so we cut ties from it for right now.

Short answer: there aren’t plans to bring back the old report and label designers in the same way they worked before. When GAGEtrak 8 was rebuilt, those tools had to be removed due to .NET compatibility and localization limitations, along with a shift in how reports and labels are handled in the system.
That said, reporting and labels are still very much on our radar. You’ve probably noticed the ad-hoc reporting that lets you modify listings without needing a full report redesign. The plan is to extend that same idea to labels, so you can control which fields appear on a label based on the current View filter, similar to how ad-hoc report listings work today.
For now, more complex report or label changes still need to go through customization services, but we’re actively looking at ways to make simpler changes easier and more accessible.
So while the original designers aren’t coming back as-is, the direction is toward more flexible, easier-to-use options going forward.

I’m here to chime in that we’d like customizable labels as well. My supervisor would like us to add our asset # to the label (recorded in GT as serial#.)
I see the responses and know it’s ‘not in the cards’ yet/soon. I’ve turned ‘tracking’ on this thread so keep us posted on any updates.

Hi Adroullard. Customization Services is available for customers who need label changes that cannot currently be made through the standard GAGEtrak interface.
To get started, email your request to support@cybermetrics.com. Please include a mockup of the label you want, the label dimensions, and a list of the GAGEtrak fields you would like included. Your email will automatically open a support case. If you prefer, you can call Support at 800-777-7020.
Our Support team will then work with our Development team and your account manager to review the request, determine what is possible, and discuss the available options with you.

Yes there is a way to add your company logo, this can be found in the settings page under the information tab.

Yes, thank you, Drew. This is where I entered our company logo for our calibration certificates. Is there a specific way to add our company logo to the labels as well? I must have missed a step because the logo does not appear on the label.
