We put together a short video that shows how to set up email in GAGEtrak so reports can be sent directly from the application.
The video walks through where to find the email settings, how to enable email, and the different options for sending messages depending on your setup. It also shows what this looks like once it’s configured, where sending a report is basically a one-click process instead of exporting files and attaching them manually.
This isn’t meant to cover every possible email environment or security scenario, but it should give you a good idea of what’s involved and what information you’ll need before getting started.
The video does not cover setting up permissions in Entra ID, but we do have step-by-step guides on our website that walk through the required configuration. These documents explain which permission type to use, the Microsoft Graph permissions required, and how those settings map back into GAGEtrak.
We maintain these instructions online since Microsoft updates the Entra interface frequently, which makes videos outdated faster than anyone would like.
