Changing Custodian for multiple gages

Hi, I am working on setting up out Gagetrak Lite, but am not sure on where to put the Dept Supervisor.

Currently our Gagetrak 6.7 uses: Current Location (we put the dept number and name here), Storage Location (Dept Supervisor and their backup), and Owner (gage end user name or machine name).

I am not sure how to set up GT Lite. I am imaging Lite would be similar to 6.7 in that: the Owner would still be the same. Storage Location or Current Location would be the dept number and name. But would the dept supervisor be under Custodian? If yes, can I do a mass custodian name change for all gages. Because we have had supervisors move to different departments, I would like to do a mass name/email change at one time. Is this possible?

Can we have two custodians per gage (each person has their own email)?

Now say Jaime changed departments, how do I only replace him with a different person (and email)?

Firstly, welcome to our forum!

Yes the setup of your GT Lite seems to be correct in order to reflect the setup in your GAGEtrak 6.7. However, if I may suggest a change, rather than putting the department supervisor and their backup as one line, you can utilize one of the gage custom fields to show the backup supervisor.

This way within your Custodians page, you can input each person individually rather than having your custodians be two people per line. Then using one of the custom drop downs (Gage Custom 4 or Gage Custom 5 in the image above), you can input the names of the backup supervisors into the drop downs to select from, and rename that field to match.
