Here’s an overview of how customizable 8i really is, especially compared to other off-the-shelf systems.

User Interface Configuration

Custom Form Labels

You can rename fields and adjust fonts on forms (work orders, assets, tasks, etc.) so the terminology matches your operation — e.g., “Asset ID” → “Equipment Number.”

How to access:

  • Look for the “Customize Form” link on supported Forms

  • Or use Configuration → Admin Settings → Interface to change text centrally

User-Defined Fields

Modify Your Own Fields

FaciliWorks 8i lets you define additional fields on major entities like:

  • Assets
