You could create a template and gage link it to all 25 gages, if they are the same and would follow the same template. Don’t know if that’s how the GT people would do it, but barring a better plan…

sounds great to me, what ever works, is there any way you can tell me how to create a link? unless its to detailed, don’t want to bother you to much.

I don’t think there is a way to fix it how it is now (in mass). If I accidently link a reference standard during calibration across multiple test points and didn’t mean to, I have to fix each test point one at a time- yes time consuming and frustrating.

I do not know of a way to get a list of all the standards to populate together in a search if anyone else does?

If we had a standards tab, and that when you linked the standard during a calibration, that it would populate under its gage link, you would be able to adjust that situation quicker I would think. I wonder if that could be brainstormed for a future update?

Hello all,

Drew from CyberMetrics here, I thought I would jump in and see if I could help.

Welcome back Awilbur! And thank you Dave for jumping in to help! If all 25 of the tools in question are using the same test point formatting, you can use the Gage Templates for this. However, the templates will want to match all the test points for those 25 tools, so if they’re not using the same sets of test points, the gage templates might be difficult to setup and do.

If you don’t mind me asking, about how many test points are there per tool? Are the tools of the same families or are they different types?

most caliper we have are same but a couple are different, there are 3 test points (calipers) per jaw and depth bar. so, 9 all together for most calipers. 2 standards for most
