One of the most underutilized coordination features in **FaciliWorks Essentials** is the ability to **publish the PM/CM calendar as a read-only feed directly into team members’ email calendars** —in real time.

No logins.
No screenshots.
No “what’s scheduled today?” messages.

**What This Actually Does**

Essentials lets you publish the PM/CM calendar using **iCal-compatible links** , which can be subscribed to in:

- Outlook

- Google Calendar

- Apple Calendar

- Android calendar apps

- Any scheduling tool that supports iCal

Once subscribed, updates happen automatically.

If a PM is rescheduled, added, or closed → the calendar updates without manual intervention.

**Where to Get the Calendar Subscription Links**

To publish the calendar, go to:

**Dashboard → PM/CM Calendar**

Inside the calendar view:

1. Select the **⚙ (cog) icon** to open **Calendar Settings**

2. Open the **Subscription Address** tab

3. Copy the appropriate calendar link

**Subscription Address Options (What You’ll See)**

FaciliWorks provides **multiple iCal subscription links** , based on **shift visibility** and **formatting compatibility** :

- **First Shift**

- **Second Shift**

- **Third Shift**

- **No Shift Assigned**

- **All Shifts**

You simply copy and paste the appropriate link into any calendar application that supports iCal subscriptions.

**Which Link Should You Use?**

- **HTML-Formatted**

- **Without Formatting**

**Why Shift-Based Calendar Publishing Matters**

This isn’t just convenience—it’s operational clarity.

- Each crew sees only **their work**

- Less calendar noise

- Fewer missed PMs

- Better shift handoffs

- Clearer alignment between operations and maintenance

And because the feed is **read-only** , schedule control stays inside the CMMS.

**Real-World Use Case**

Supervisors use this for:

- Daily and weekly maintenance planning

- Shift briefings

- Visibility for operations managers

- Reducing dependency on printed schedules or emails

Technicians use it because it shows up **where they already look** —their calendar.

**Field Insight**

If maintenance work lives only inside the CMMS, it’s invisible to everyone else.

Publishing the PM/CM calendar turns your maintenance plan into a shared operational timeline—without sacrificing control.
