# Issuing gages in crib

Hey all, I can’t seem to find a search button to look up gages that I want to issue to a machine.

Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Gene,

Welcome to our forum! We’re glad you’re here!

To answer your question, within the Crib in the bottom left hand corner, you should see an option titled “Gage Lookup”. If you open this up, it should open up to a gage listing and allow you to filter by the gage ID column there.

How do I issue or move a gage to the shop floor?

Gene,

There are a couple different ways to issue a transfer. What I would recommend is going to be finding the gage within the GAGEtrak application itself, then under the gage’s information is a “transfer gage” button.

This will open up a pop-up for you to fill in some details of the transfer, and allow you to transfer that gage out to where you would like it to go. When you are done with that tool and ready to close out the transfer record, you can find the record this pop-up created within the GAGEtrak Crib, normal Transfers section.
