I am setting up the automatic email reports feature for my gage list, and I am noticing that the only options are for the ad hoc report or the canned report. However, I prefer the export option and exporting the information as an excel so I can format it myself. Does anybody know if it is possible to set up the export feature in an automatic email report? How would I go about this?

Hello Lilransdawg,

Firstly, welcome to the forum! Thank you for joining us here.

To setup the auto email to export into a format, there is an field for the “Output Format”, if you change this to Excel, it will send the report as an Excel file.

Thanks for having me!

Yes, I am familiar with changing the output format, but that is not quite the issue I am having.
The Excel file from an Ad Hoc report and from an Export are formatted differently, and I want to get the export style emailed to me, NOT the Ad Hoc version.

However, when creating a new email report, the only options are Ad Hoc and Canned Reports:

So, my question is, is it possible to automatically email the Export information?

Lilransdawg,

My apologies, I do not believe it is possible to auto email the export of a report at this time.

What address do I use for the “From Address”? Is this the address that email will be sent from from GAGEtrak or Cybermetrics?

Farkasl,

Yes that is correct, the “From Address” is the email account that you would like GAGEtrak to use to send emails out from.
