Management asked if we could buy a “read only” license. I told them we could set up a regular license with a log in that was read only. I think they were looking for a cheap way for QE’s to look at data without having to buy a full prices license.

They do have a read only license that is less expense. We are purchasing it for our Management group that deals with our ISO audits.

There is a license for read only access. GAGEtrak Pro Info Center concurrent license provides visibility by providing additional personnel to _view only_ calibration data and access to reports without consuming a full GAGEtrak Pro license.

If the data base is SQL Server setup, you can create an excel spreadsheet and link it to this and just create a simple search. (If you have Excel experience in creating this). I had to create this so we can see both the old system GagePack and the new system GagTrackPro. I only have two license at my company and this has help engineering department and other departments big time. They don’t need to bother inspection, just search. As you will see below the history and job number is what is important for what they need, some of the history from the old system is from 2001 and we purchased gagetrack pro last year, so this has no history. Audit saver right here, what job used what gage. 😅
